Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its Bags of Help initiative across Scotland. The scheme sees three community groups and projects in each of around 200 Tesco regions awarded grants of £5,000, £2,000 and £1,000 – all raised from the 5p bag charge. greenspace scotland is working with Groundwork to support Scottish communities.
Customers get to vote for their favourite project every time they shop to determine the grant size each community project receives. We’re delighted Circle’s Dads’ Group has been awarded £4,400 through the Bags of Help initiative. This will really make a difference and will go towards outdoor activities and healthy eating for the group. Thanks everyone who voted for us in Tesco stores!
