Circle’s Haven Project took part in their third storytelling event. The end result this year was publication of “The Alien Assignment”, a book written and illustrated by families supported by the project. We were delighted to have our patron David Tennant provide the foreword for the book.
During Storytelling Week in the summer of 2015 the children and parents, with the help of children’s author Mike Nicholson, spent time gathering ideas and drawing pictures for the story. On November 27th the Haven Project celebrated the launch of the book at the North Edinburgh Arts Centre. It was wonderful to hear the story read aloud by the children!
