Our spring Staff Development Day centred around Year of the Dad.
Circle staff were joined by Gary Clapton, senior lecturer from University of Edinburgh Social Work, who discussed with us the unique effect a positively involved father can bring to the table. Thanks to Gary and all Circle staff for their sharing of good practice. There was passionate discussion between all of our teams on how we can go the extra mile for dads. Great ideas for moving forward, all of which advocate that we continue to “See the dad, not the label”.
Circle were delighted to welcome three new University of Edinburgh Social Work placement students to their first Staff Development Day. Lisa loves our whole family approach!
