The FABI team has continued to strengthen their links with Scripture Union and The Prison Fellowship on providing exciting opportunities for children and young people to attend Scripture Union Holiday Camps over the summer holidays. 43 children and young people were referred from Circle creating wonderful memories for them as they met new friends and tried out new and exciting activities.
Here are some of the comments from children and young people who attended camps:
“Everyone there was so amazing……the cooks were fantastic every meal was amazing thanks to them (except the soup which I don’t like) but I tried something new – TACOS they were FANDABIDOSEY”
“I loved all of the activities…..my favourite activities out of them all would be Go Karting, high ropes or nukemball.”
“I loved doing the high ropes because I love the feeling of being really nervous about something but then overcoming that fear and doing it. It makes me feel good about myself.”
“Thank you for giving me and my brother such an amazing opportunity to an amazing place. We appreciate it very much and so thankful.”
A young girl in response to what she liked best commented “Meeting People, Activities and Food” and in response to what she liked the least commented “Nothing”.
A 9-year old boy liked “climbing and biking” best and commented “I would like to go again”.
