Today is the 10 year anniversary of Circle’s West Lothian project.
For the past decade we have supported vulnerable children and families in West Lothian who are affected by parental drug and/or alcohol use.
In that time we have worked with 478 families. This works out at 571 parents and 930 children.
Circle staff members, other professionals, the families involved and public figures were invited to attend a celebration to mark this anniversary at the Howden Park Centre.
Maureen Trumper, the Project Manager at West Lothian, reflected on the successes of the last ten years and looked forward to the next ten (although, she noted, the West Lothian project is only funded for a further three years, for the time being!).
This funding has enabled Circle to work in partnership with WLDAS to support families in West Lothian affected by parental drug and/or alcohol use.
Circle and WLDAS will jointly provide services in West Lothian as The Family Recovery Service.
