33 of our East Lothian Project families enjoyed a summer picnic on Wednesday 15 July at Musselburgh beach. Children 1st joined Circle to host the day and we were very kindly given donations of food from Tesco and Baynes Baker in Musselburgh. Some fresh cheese and ham rolls were also donated by Jimmy and Suzanne who run the Sheriffhall Café and those went down well, with families and staff alike!
A cake bake at Randall House had raised nearly £80 for the day. Along with some other donations, this allowed staff to buy all of the picnic food plus some extra buckets and spades and a few team games to play. Oh and of course an ice lolly for all!
Despite a typical rainy start, everyone enjoyed the day and the sun came out in the end. There were even children swimming in the sea!
