Circle’s Families Affected By Imprisonment (FABI) team are delighted that Scottish Government’s Reducing Reoffending Change Fund have approved plans to extend funding for the SHINE PSP for a further year. Grant funding will therefore be provided for the financial year 2017 – 2018. Circle’s FABI team has 3 SHINE mentors supporting women and their families in North and South Lanarkshire, Glasgow, Fife and Forth Valley and Tayside. As part of the SHINE PSP, Circle is keen to strengthen this collaborative partnership approach to supporting women and their families, making a difference to whole families in their communities and ultimately addressing the shattering impact on women and their families impacted by imprisonment.
